Collaborations

SERI ascribes to the professional model, relying on advanced methods and techniques taught at both the undergraduate and graduate level. In terms of psychological treatment and assessment, this means that a healthy working alliance between an agency and local institutions of higher learning must be in place.

SERI employs a diverse group of doctoral students of psychology and undergraduate volunteers. A number of key SERI staff members also fill positions as professors and lecturers within the Criminal Justice and Psychology departments at California State University, Fresno, and Alliant International University.

SERI is extremely dedicated to recruiting highly qualified candidates to fulfill the various positions within the organization. Due to opportunities for working with adolescent and adult populations, as well as the wide variety of ethnic an cultural backgrounds being targeted, students and volunteers working with SERI will find their experiences extremely rewarding and valuable.
