SCOPE Program

SERI recently received exclusive grant funding to provide mental health assessments for the Fresno County Superior Court under the SCOPE (Serving Co-Occurring Populations Effectively) program. These assessments will be provided for approximately 300 adults accepted into Post Conviction Drug Court whose co-occurring mental health issues might prevent them from achieving sobriety if not properly identified. Working in conjunction with a court-appointed SCOPE coordinator, SERI will assess clients and make referrals to appropriate treatment interventions, bridging the gap between the criminal justice system, treatment providers, support services, and supervision.
